Compared to TV and PC liquid crystal screen, PID liquid crystal screen boasts higher brightness. In general, the brightness of TV or PC liquid crystal screen is 250~300cd/ (≤ 42 ) and 400~500 cd/ (≥ 46 ), while that of PID liquid crystal screen may hit 700~800 cd/ (≥46).

        High definition and contrast

The contrast of PID liquid crystal screen is 1000: 1 (≤42)  and 2000: 1(≥ 46) , more than one times above the liquid crystal screen of traditional PC or TV and three times of that of the general rear projection screen.

        High color saturation

At present, color saturation of common LCD and CRT is 72% only, while that of PID LCD may reach as high as 92%. It is attributed by the newly developed PID color standard technology. With the technology, not only the color of the static menus but also the color of dynamic menus can be calibrated. In this way, the precision and stability of menu output are guaranteed.

As any and all PID LCD points will remain the color saturation after it is connected to the signal and are not required to upgrade continuously the bright point as required by CRT, LCD features even brightness and qualified menu quality and is free from flicker.

       Super long service life

The service life of the back light source of LCD liquid crystal screen adopted by the common PC and TV ranges from 10,000-30,000h, while the service life of the back light source of PID LCD liquid crystal screen can reach 50,000h or above. Thus, the brightness, contrast and rendering consistency of each liquid crystal screen adopted by the splice display is guaranteed even after it has been used for a long time and the service life of the splice display is guaranteed to be no less than 50,000h.

        Narrow wall design

Besides the ultra-large display area, PID liquid crystal screen is characterized by thin thickness and light weight. It can be spliced and installed easily. In general, a 42 PID LCD is 20KG in weight only and is less than 10 centimeter in thickness. Due to the excellent narrow wall design, the edges of the special liquid crystal screen for splicing is 1 centimeter only. Compared to the 46large screen, such a small edge will not affect the overall display result of the splice display at all.
